Mabel G. (Leavitt) Allison, 91, of Hot Springs, SD, passed away March 8, 2017, at the Seven Sisters Living Center in Hot Springs.

Mabel was born September 8, 1925, in White Clay, NE, to Walter and Dora (Bothell) Leavitt. She was educated in Nebraska and South Dakota. Mabel married Andrew Allison March 9, 1946, and they ranched for years in South Dakota. They then moved to Ames, IA, where Mabel worked 25 years at the Mary Greely Hospital in Ames. After retirement, they moved back to Hot Springs so that Andrew could be close to the VA Medical Center for his medical care. Mabel and Andrew were married for 50 years and were blessed with three daughters, Linda; Paula and Carla.

Mabel is survived by her daughters, Linda Bochmann of Hot Springs; Paula (Mike) Edwards of Hot Springs; Carla (Mick) Whaley of Mesa, AZ; four grandchildren, Jason Bochmann; Travis Priddy; Ashley Whaley; Megan Scott; and three great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m., Monday, March 13, 2017, at Chamberlain McColleys Funeral Home in Hot Springs with Pastor Matt Lim officiating.
