Madeline A. Burke, age 89, formerly of Wanblee, SD, passed away October 24, 2014, at the Custer Regional Senior Care Center in Custer, SD.
Madeline was born January 25, 1925, in Pine Ridge, SD, to William and Lizzie (Gariner) Pumpkin Seed.
She is survived by her nieces and nephews.
Wake services will be held at 7:00 p.m., Monday, October 27, 2014, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Custer.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 28, 2014, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church with Fr. Kerry Prendiville officiating.
Interment will follow at the Fairburn Cemetery in Fairburn, SD.
