Maria Wilson, age 63, of Hot Springs, SD, passed away on March 14, 2016, at the VA Medical Center in Fort Meade, SD.

Maria was born on January 7, 1953, in Burnely, Lancashire, England, to Leo and Alice (Moorin) Komar. She served in the United States Army from March 1973, until her honorable discharge in October 1974.

Maria is survived by her son, Ty (Erin) Wilson of Box Elder, SD; sister, Barbara (Jerry) Cornwell of Denver, CO; and four grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held 10:00 a.m., Saturday, March 19, 2016, at Chamberlain McColley's Funeral Home in Hot Springs.

Interment with her husband, George Wilson, will be held 1:30 p.m., Friday, June 10, 2016, at the Black Hills National Cemetery near Sturgis, SD, with Military Honors provided by the United States Army and the Sturgis Veterans Honor Guards.

A memorial has been established in Maria's name.
