Obituary
Mary Ann Herra, age 78, passed away January 27, 2013, at her home in Custer, SD.
Mary was born August 21, 1934 to Samuel & Anna (Mason) Fish in Platte SD. She married Dean Herra October 18, 1952. They moved to Custer where she lived the rest of her life. Mary's greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends. She was an active member of the Seventh-day Adventist church serving as church pianist for most of that time.
Survivors include sons, Gordon (Erica) Herra of Aztec, NM; Melvin Herra of Rapid City, SD; Gary Herra of Cortez, CO; Donald Herra of Saint Maries, ID; Clifford (Debbie) Herra of Saint Maries, ID; Rodney (Brenda) Herra of Spring City, TN; Raymond Herra of Custer; daughter, Gloria (Pierre) Marcoe of Custer; brother, Spencer Fish of Winner, SD; sister, Mae Brummett of Howard, SD; 15 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Memorial Services will be 2:00 pm Wednesday, March 13 at the Custer Seventh-day Adventist Church.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established to Black Hills Works (formerly Black Hills Workshop).
