Mary Frances (Plooster) Parsons, 62, of Custer, SD, passed away April 5, 2018, at the Custer Hospital in Custer.

Mary was born April 22, 1955, in Vermillion, SD, to Dale and Frances (Krogman) Plooster.

Mary is survived by her husband, Michael of Custer; daughter, Micaela Parsons of Rapid City, SD; sister, Julianne (Jeff) Petzoldt of Tampa, FL; brothers, Thomas (Anne) Plooster of Pierre, SD; Timothy Plooster of White River, SD; Troy (Kimberly) Plooster of Augusta, GA; Tyler (Stacy) Plooster of Augusta.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 11, 2018, at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in White River, SD.    Committal services will follow at the White River Cemetery in White River, SD.

In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in Mary's name to benefit Shirley's Adult Day Center (formally WRDI) at 4410 Winfield St, Rapid City, SD, 57701.

Arrangements have been placed in the care of Chamberlain McColley's Funeral Home, Hot Springs, SD.
