Obituary
Mary Jane Varick, age 74, of Hot Springs, SD, passed away on October 25, 2016, at her son's home in Brandon, SD.
Mary Jane was born on August 2, 1942 in Omaha, NE to Frank and Rose (Slepicka) Weber. She moved to South Dakota in 1973. Mary Jane worked for the Department of Public Safety as a Senior Driver License examiner for 30 years and was the business manager for the Southern Hills USBC Bowling Association.
There were many hobbies Mary enjoyed, knitting, bowling, traveling, quilting, and cake decorating.
Mary Jane is survived by a son, Daniel (Bobi) Stubblefield of Brandon, SD; their daughter, Jessica Fisher and 3 great grandsons; her daughter, Cindy (Justin) Arnold and their daughter, Tiffany Arnold; her sister, Doris Weber.
Mary Jane was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Varick, one son, two sisters, and her parents.
A Celebration of Life will be held November 2, 2016, Wednesday, 11:00 a.m., at Chamberlain-McColley's Funeral Home in Hot Springs, SD.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in Mary's name to benefit the Hot Springs Fire Department and the Humane Society of Hot Springs, SD.
