Maxine Wanelda Jensen, 90, of Hot Springs, SD, passed away February 24, 2024.  Maxine was born on a farm in Howard, SD to James and Wanelda Cavigielli.  Maxine married Donald R. Jensen in 1951.  They farmed and raised 3 children.  They retired in Hot Springs in 2000, moving from Golden, CO where they owned and ran the family business, the Golden Bowl bowling center.

She is survived by her children, Debra (Gary) Weishaupl; Richard Jensen and Brenda Gamache all of Hot Springs.  She is also survived by her grandchildren, Jason (Kellee) Parker; Shane (Tiffany) Parker; David (Carlee) Weishaupl; Christine (Kevin) McGarrigle and Jared Gamache along with 5 great grandchildren.

A celebration of life for Don and Maxine Jensen will be held 1;00 P.M., Saturday, June 8, 2024 at Chautauqua Park in Hot Springs, SD.
