In Loving Memory of Michael Kane Stanley (1986-2024)

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mike Stanley who left us far too soon on June 8, 2024, at the age of 38. Born on April 9, 1986, Mike brought joy, laughter and warmth to everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

Mike was a man who lived life to the fullest, with a contagious sense of humor that could brighten even the darkest days. He had a unique gift for making people laugh and his presence turned ordinary moments into cherished memories.

Mike was known for his mischievous grin and adventurous spirit. Whether he was sharing hilarious anecdotes or offering a listening ear. Beyond his humor, Mike was a loving son, brother and friend.

He is survived by his parents, Jody Stanley and  Bob Stanley who cherished every moment with their beloved son; his daughter, Justice; his siblings, Jon Stanley; Cara Stanley; Shane Stanley; Chelsea Guerue and Zachary Guerue who will forever remember his infectious laughter and boundless energy; his nieces and nephews, Cierra Due; Tyler Due; Chloe Huckaby; Zoe Huckaby; Cashlynn Stanley; Akobi Guerue; Chance Marcus Jr.; Kaylynn; Tracyn and Anna; his best friend, George Campbell and everyone else whom feel the immense void left by his passing.

Mike's life, though tragically cut short, was filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable moments. He never lied and would always protect those he loved and cared about. He will always be remembered for his crazy dance moves and his ability to play any instrument especially the piano and guitar. His legacy will live on through the stories and smiles he leaves behind. As we say goodbye to Mike, we find comfort in the joy he brought into our lives and the indelible mark he made on our hearts.

Rest in Peace Mike.  You will be dearly missed and forever remembered.

Visitation will be held 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., Friday June 14, 2024, at Chamberlain McColley's Funeral Home in Hot Springs, SD.Funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 15, 2024, at Chamberlain McColley's Funeral Home in Hot Springs, SD followed by committal service at Evergreen Cemetery in Hot Springs, SD.
