Miranda Christine Wade, most commonly known as Mandi, as well as Mom to her kids, Mabba to her brother and sister, MandiPandiSugarCandi to her parents and the Freaki Mandiki to some, died at age 38 years of age in a fatal car accident on Saturday, June 28th, when the pickup she was driving to pick up her kids for their summer visit.

Mandi is survived by her children, Alex and Nick; brother, Chris Gollan; sister, Genevieve Gollan Griffith; nephew, Aiden; niece, Breanna and her parents, Thom and Mona Gollan. She is also survived by a very large, loving family of aunts, uncles and cousins.

Mandi was a memorable person. She had a huge personality and a smile that could light up a room and melt the coldest of hearts. Everyone who knew her loved her. She was loud, she was obnoxious and she didn't care what people thought about her. Everyone knew when she arrived at a get-together before she even got to the door. Even with her kiss-my-ass attitude, she opened her home and her heart to anyone and everyone. She would've given a stranger the shirt off her back right then and there if they needed it. Her love of animals was apparent in the way she was with all of her pets; and she had many. She had her dogs, Charley and Boondocks, with her everywhere she went. She was fiercely loyal to her friends and family and she was the kind of person who would say "What do you need me to do?" if she saw someone in trouble. She saw the best in everyone and forgave those who treated her poorly.

Most importantly, her kids were her life and she would've given hers for theirs without a moment's hesitation. When they were at their dad's, she lost a part of herself and couldn't wait for them to get back. Her daughter Alex and her son Nick were and are lucky to have a mom like her.

Services will be held on July 3, 2014, at 6:00 pm at the Old Storybook Island Shelter at 2911 Canyon Lake Road, Rapid City .
