Obituary
Nadine Althea Booton, age 78, of Edgemont, SD, passed away Thursday, March 12, 2009 at Castle Manor Nursing Home in Hot Springs, SD.
Nadine was born September 11, 1930 in Seattle, WA to Clyde and Helen (Ames) Marlatt. She was married to Glen Booton, Sr. for 28 years. She worked and supervised brain damaged children in Hillsboro, OR. Nadine took great care of her family and friends. She loved to teach people how to knit and crochet and loved learning new hobbies.
Nadine is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Suzanne and Shane Porter, of Edgemont and six grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held 4:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 17, 2009 at the Cactus Hills Retirement Home in Edgemont with Rev. Marion Gray officiating. Interment will be held at a later date at Black Hills National Cemetery near Sturgis, SD.
A memorial has been established in Nadine's name to Benefit Cactus Hills Retirement Community.
Arrangements have been placed in the care of McColley's Chapel of the Hills in Hot Springs. Written condolences can be made at www.mccolleyschapels.com.
