Romans 8:28 "And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God"

Nancy Lynn (Bradeen) Hendrickson entered the Kingdom of Heaven in the early morning hours of Wednesday, August 12, 2015, losing her battle with cancer.

Nancy was born into a ranching family on November 12, 1964, to Robert and Norma (Haskell) Bradeen in her home town of Custer, SD, where Bob and Norma raised their family. Nancy is the youngest of their 4 children. Nancy attended Custer High School where she met her best friend and the love of her life, Bud Hendrickson. Bud and Nancy exchanged marriage vows on August 15, 1987, in Custer Community Church. They started their family on April 30, 1993, when their eldest son, Grant, was born. This ended Nancy's days as an office manager as she began her lifelong career choice, managing their home and raising her "Little Pumpkins." Bud's job took the family to California's Fresno area where their family expanded again with the birth of their second son, Brett, on February 7, 1995. The family eventually settled into the mountain community of Coarsegold, CA.

As their son's entered adulthood and moved out of the family nest, Bud's job took the two of them to Washugal, WA, on August 1, 2014, Nancy's final earthly home.

Nancy was kind, a nurturer, always finding the positive in any situation and passing it on to others. Her ready, sincere, infectious smile comforted those she knew and loved, lighting up a room whenever she entered. She battled the disease with such courage, grace, and a positive attitude that she was an inspiration to all she encountered, even to those who administered her care. To quote a friend, "she knew no strangers."

Wife, Mother, Daughter, Sister, Aunt, Niece, Mentor, BFF, Child of God, she was loved and will be missed by so many, but be comforted that Nancy knew this separation is temporary. Nancy's relationship with Jesus comforted her as she slipped from this life into the next.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Norma Bradeen.

She is survived by her loving husband, Bud; her two Little Pumpkins, Grant Hendrickson of Menlo, CA; Brett Hendrickson of Coarsegold, CA; three brothers, Mike and Ron Bradeen of Custer; and Steve Bradeen of Menifee, CA.

Nancy will be laid to rest in her home town of Custer, near her parents.
