Nellie Marguerite Wall, age 85, went home to be with the Lord and loved ones February 19, 2008 in her home at Pine Hills Retirement Community, Hot Springs, SD. She will be missed by her family and friends.

Nellie was born to Blanche and Emil Sand on July 14, 1922 in Brush, CO. Nellie was the oldest, with two brothers, Bob and Ron. At age sixteen, Nellie married Orin Wall. Together they had four children. Nellie spent her life raising children and grandchildren. She enjoyed her family, first and foremost. Nellie also loved her church and made many dear friends. She lived her whole life in Colorado until she moved to Hot Springs in 2002 to be near her son.

Nellie is survived by her son, Jim Wall and his wife Janet of Hot Springs; thirteen grandchildren; thirty three great-grandchildren; ten great great-grandchildren and brother Ron Sand of Fort Morgan, CO.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Orin; three daughters, Joann, Peggy and Donna; one grandson, Jimmy; her brother, Robert and her parents.

Memorial services will be held 2:00 p.m., Sunday, February 24, 2008 at the First Christian Church in Fort Morgan, CO with Rev. Marty Hermanstorfer officiating and 10:00 a.m., Thursday, February 28, 2008 at the United Churches in Hot Springs with Pastor Morris Nelson officiating.

In lieu of flowers memorials have been established in Nellie's name to benefit either the Missionary Ministry of the First Christian Church in Fort Morgan, CO or the Hot Springs Senior Citizens Center in Hot Springs, SD.
