Patricia Alvina Fritz, 88, formerly of Custer, SD, passed away March 10, 2023, at Pine Hills Retirement Community in Hot Springs, SD.

Patricia was born March 18, 1934 to Herman and Marcella (Schriver) Blaeser.   She met the love of her life, Donald Fritz, in 1951 and they married in 1952.  They farmed together for 50 years in the Gary, SD area and retired to Custer in 2002, loving their brand new home.  Patricia was known as Patricia; Ma; Pat and Mom.  She will be remembered for her pretty smile and always being welcoming, caring, fun and loving.

Patricia is survived by her sons, David (Barbara) Fritz; Steven Fritz; Stanley (Sandy) Fritz; daughters, Donna (Terry) Smith; Debra (Stephen) Davis; brothers, Tom (Janette) Blaeser; David (Ermina) Blaeser; John (Gail) Blaeser; Jerry Blaeser; sister, Susan (Randall) Severs; 13 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald; brothers, Bob; Jim; Mike and 2 grandchildren, Anretta and Mitch.

A Celebration of Life will be held May 20, 2023 in Clear Lake, SD with committal services at Grandview Cemetery in Gary, SD.
