Patricia Ann Moore, age 88, passed away on Saturday, July 11, 2020 at Arbor Springs Senior Living.
Pat was born December 16, 1931, in Gebo, Wyoming, to Leo and Evangeline. She attended school in Hay Springs, Nebraska, and lived a number of different places throughout her life, including Roswell, New Mexico; Colorado Springs, Colorado; Custer, South Dakota; and Des Moines, Iowa.
Pat loved learning new things and solving problems, and gave her all to any job she took on, including for the Army Corps of Engineers, for the campaign for Barry Goldwater for President, and for many years as an administrative assistant at Custer Elementary School. In the summers she enjoyed supporting and promoting the Mountain Music Show, The Miners Music Show, and the Dakota Country Music Show. She founded Golden Circle Tours in 1977, growing it from an operation of one tour van to six vans with multiple tours a day, as well as hiring out tour guides to chartered bus tours.
She was married first to Rick, and had a daughter, Angie. When Angie was five years old, Pat married Bob, and their marriage lasted for 57 years until his death in 2018. Pat is survived by her four daughters, Angie, Tammy, Theresa, and Anna, twelve grandchildren, and 21 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son, Bobby, as well as her husband Bob.
Family, friends, and those whose lives she touched are invited to a Christian Funeral Committal graveside service at Custer Cemetery at 1 p.m., Saturday, July 18, 2020. Please practice social distancing.
