Obituary
Paul Henry Shatter, 74, of Hot Springs, SD died June 10, 2007 at the Michael J. Fitzmaurice State Veterans Home in Hot Springs.
Paul was born March 28, 1933 in Sioux Falls, SD to Robert and Rose (Gimble) Shatter. He began his career as a farmer before entering and proudly serving his country in the United States Army from 1953 until his honorable discharge in 1954. After being discharged, Paul returned to the farm until securing employment with Dual Manufacturing in Sioux Falls. He moved to Hot Springs in 1978 and lived there until his death.
Survivors include two daughters, Becky Peterson of Harriman, TN; Lorriann Shatter of Scotland, SD; sister-in-law, Coral Shatter; one niece, two step-nephews and two grandchildren.
Paul is preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Roy "Bud" Shatter.
Memorial Services will be held at a later date.
