Pauline Sue Meseraull, age 84, of Hot Springs, SD, passed away on December 9, 2014, at the Fall River Hospital in Hot Springs.
Pauline was born September 28, 1930, Osborne, KS, to Paul and Bessie (Bowers) Gilmore. In 1948, she graduated from Miltonvale, KS, High School. Pauline was the dressing room assistant for The Miss South Dakota Pageant from 1972-1981. Pageant girls called her "dressing room mom". She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Piedmont, SD, and B+P Women of Hot Springs from 1975-1985.
Pauline was a business woman in Hot Springs with her husband Dave Meseraull, together, they owned and operated The Office Supply Store and Bison Real Estate from 1977-1983. They also owned and operated Cabin Inn Restaurant in Miltonvale for 4 years.
Pauline enjoyed reading gossip magazines, bowling, playing bingo, and people.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Dave Mereraull; parents, Paul and Bessie Gilmore.
She is survived by her sons, Richard (Janice) Shepard of Duncan, OK; Michael Shepard; daughters, Susie (Bruce) Clyde of Hot Springs; Sandra (Gary) Fling of Brighton, CO; Diane Bronsio of Brighton, CO; brothers, Robert (Mary Lou) Gilmore of KS; Ronald (Katie) Gilmore of Buffalo, NY; Jessie (Jo Ann) Gilmore of Calgary, Canada; sister, Laura (Zane) Feigle of Canisteo, NY; 20 grandchildren; and 31 great grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, December 16, 2014, at the Seven Sisters Nursing Home in Hot Springs.
