Obituary
Pete Joseph Modde, age 93, of Custer, SD, passed away February 4, 2011, at the Custer Regional Senior Care Center in Custer.
Pete was born August 15, 1917, at Provo, SD, to John and Bertha (Houg) Modde. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII from April 27, 1942, until his honorable discharge on October 16, 1945.
He is survived by one daughter, Marlene Hannah of Hot Springs, SD, and five grandchildren.
At his request no services will be held.
