Priscilla Verna Sieg, age 81, passed away November 4, 2011, at her home in Hot Springs, SD.
Priscilla was born January 25, 1930, in Eureka, SD, to John and Emma (Krein) Spitzer. In 1942, she moved to Igloo, SD and graduated from Hot Springs High School in 1948. Upon graduation she began working for the First National Bank of the Black Hills in Hot Springs. On December 31, 1950, Priscilla married James L. Sieg. She started working with her husband at Hills Edge Auto Sales in the mid 1970's until 1995, at which time she retired.
Survivors include her son, Gaylan (Janet) Sieg of Hot Springs; daughter, Teresa (Stanley) Nase of Hot Springs; brother, Roger (Helen) Spitzer of Hot Springs; four grandchildren, Adam Sieg of Charleston, SC; Brandon Nase of Sioux Falls, SD; Holly (Cameron) Weiss of Belle Fourche, SD; Ashley Nase attending school at University of South Dakota; and one great grandchild, John Ryder Weiss. Others that shared special moments with Priscilla include many nieces and nephews and some very dear friends.
Priscilla was preceded in death by her parents, John and Emma; and her husband, James.
Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 8, 2011, at Bethesda Lutheran Church in Hot Springs with Pastor Gary Jacobsen officiating.
A memorial has been established in Priscilla's name to benefit the Bethesda Lutheran Church and/or the Bethesda Lutheran School in Hot Springs.
