Randal Wayne 'Randy' Davis, 60, passed away December 30, 2009, at his home in Hot Springs, SD.
Randy was born May 10, 1949, in Hot Springs to Tom J. and Mary E. (Richardson) Davis. He was raised and attended school in Belle Fourche, SD, and graduated from Belle Fourche High School in 1967.
Randy served in the United States Army from January 17, 1968, until his honorable discharge on April 28, 1971.
He graduated from the University of South Dakota (Springfield) in May of 1978, with an Associate Degree in Diesel Technology.
Randy enjoyed working as a mechanic, ranch work, swimming, history, the outdoors, and befriending others.
He is survived by his two daughters, Kela (Terry)Severson of Platte, SD; Gaylynn Davis of Sioux Falls, SD; father, Tom Davis of Belle Fourche, SD; two brothers, Tom (Kathy) Davis of Belle Fourche; Bill Davis of Belle Fourche and six grandchildren.
Interment will be held 9:00 a.m., Monday, January 18, 2010, at the Black Hills National Cemetery near Sturgis, SD. Military Honors will be provided by the South Dakota National Guard and the Sturgis Veterans Honor Guard.
Memorial Services will be held, 11:00 a.m., Monday, January 18, 2010, at the Belle Fourche Moose Lodge.
