Ray Gore, 89, of Custer, SD passed away November 17, 2007 at the Custer Regional Senior Care Center in Custer.

Ray was born October 5, 1918 to Worth and Etta (Arnold) Gore in Frederick, OK. He married the love of his life Mildred Hass on July 8, 1938. To this union two children, Betty Lou and Jimmy Ray, were born. On July 8, 2007 they celebrated their 69th year of forever together.

Ray is survived by his loving wife, Mildred of Custer; one daughter, Betty Lou (Don) Jacobs of Edgemont, SD; son, Jimmy Ray, (Linda) Gore of Picayune, WA; one brother, Billy Wayne (Ruby) Gore of Boise, OK; one sister, Mary Lou (Earnest) Wiebe of Guymon, OK; five grand children; five great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m., Friday, November 23, 2007 at the Edgemont Cemetery near Edgemont with Reverend Marion Gray, Sr. officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials in Ray's name be sent to the Edgemont Baptist Church.
