Obituary
Raymond Leroy Haden of Hot Springs died Thursday, July 24, 2008, at the South Dakota State Veterans Home, Hot Springs, SD.
Raymond was born November 11, 1916 in Cunningham, Kansas. He was a World War II veteran of the European Theater and a lifetime member of the American Legion.
Raymond married Martha Pearl Augustine June 17, 1946 in Chadron, NE. They moved to Hot Springs in 1946 and have lived here since that time.
He is survived by Martha, his wife of 62 years; two sons, Kenneth (Susan) of Hot Springs and Gerald (Kathi) of Canyon Lake, TX; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and two sisters. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
Graveside rites will be held at Black Hills National Cemetery, Sturgis, SD, 9:00 a.m., Monday, July 28, 2008 with Chaplain Ralph Vencill officiating.
Arrangements have been placed in the care of McColley's Chapel of the Hills in Hot Springs. Written condolences can be made at www.mccolleyschapels.com.
