In loving memory of Richard Allen Case Sr. 77, near Oral, South Dakota, Port Huron and South Haven, MI died Friday December 7,2018. He was born on May 24, 1941 in Allegan, MI to the late Guy Robert Case and Helen Frances Tromp. He Married Joe Ann LaPlaunt May 16, 1987. She preceded him in death on October 16, 2016.

Richard served in the U.S Army until his honorable discharge in 1961. He Retired from VA Black Hills Hospital in Hot Springs as maintenance personal. He loved his family, enjoyed his daughter Brenda's horses and socializing at the American Legion.

He survived by his two children, daughter Veronica (Martin) Badgerow , and Richard (Penny) Allan Case Jr.  Four stepchildren, daughter Brenda (Mike) Brown, daughter Linda Ewing (Russ), son Edwin (Sheri) Ray LaPlaunt, son Vincent (Phyllis) LaPlaunt.   Three sisters Patricia Variell, Irene Hunt, Kathy Case Thompson,and one brother Bill Haberland.Grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Committal services will be held at Black Hills National Cemetery Sturgis,SD on May 25, 2019 at 9am following memorial service at American Legion beginning at 1pm.
