Rita L. Lund, 74, passed away October 1, 2016, at her home near Hot Springs, SD.
Rita was born September 5, 1942, in Hermosa, SD, to Harold and Florence (Rodgers) Stabelfeldt.
Rita is survived by her husband, Donald Lund of Hot Springs; son, Timm (Jenny) Buchholz of Garrison, MN; stepsons, Mike (Laurie) Lund of Bremerton, WA; Keith (Tonya) Lund of Omaha, NE; stepdaughter, Terrie (Paul Riefenburg of Charlotte, NC; sister, Loretta McMahan of Rapid City, SD and six grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 5, 2016, at Chamberlain McColley's Funeral Home in Hot Springs, with Pastor Gary Jacobsen officiating. Interment will be held 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 5, 2016, at the Mountain View Cemetery in Rapid City, SD.
A memorial in Rita's name has been established to benefit the Bethesda Lutheran School in Hot Springs.
Arrangements have been placed in the care of Chamberlain McColley's Funeral Home in Hot Springs.
