Obituary
Robert Wayne "Bob" Girton, age 72, of Hot Springs, SD, passed away on January 12, 2015, at the Hot Springs Veterans Medical Center in Hot Springs.
Bob was born on September 28, 1942 in Custer, SD, to Lloyd and Esther (Brill) Girton. He proudly served in the United States Air Force from 1961, to his honorable discharge in 1965.
He is survived by his wife, Carol Girton; son, Mark Girton of Mobridge, SD; daughters, Wendy Girton of Hot Springs, SD; Anneliese (Terry) Rankin of Johnstown, OH; Kristi (Jeff) Hudson of Hot Springs, SD; mother, Ester Girton of Hot Springs, 14 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Proceeded in death by his father, Lloyd E. Girton.
Committal services will be held 10:00 a.m., Friday, January 16, 2015, at the Black Hills National Cemetery near Sturgis, SD, with Rev. Loyd Nielson officiating.
