Obituary
Robert Alan Dobratz, 48, of Hot Springs, SD died May 28, 2007 at the VA Medical Center in Hot Springs, SD.
Robert was born September 7, 1958 in Chicago, IL to John G. and Diane J. (Barkulis) Dobratz. He proudly served in the United States Marine Corps from 1975 to 1977. Robert worked as an automobile mechanic for over twenty years and most recently worked as a finish carpenter.
Robert was a loving, caring father, not only to his own sons, but to all of the kids. He was also a very good husband and friend.
Robert is survived by his wife, LuAnn Dobratz of Hot Springs, SD; son, Nicholas Dobratz of Hot Springs, SD; parents, John and Diane Dobratz of Athelstane, WI and sister, Lori Boyd of Wisconsin.
He was preceded in death by his son, Nathaniel.
A visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, Friday, June 1, 2007 at McColley's Chapels of the Hills in Hot Springs, SD.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 am, Saturday, June 2, 2007 at McColley's Chapels of the Hills in Hot Springs, SD with Don Harwood officiating. Interment will follow at the Evergreen Cemetery in Hot Springs.
The family suggests memorials to the family to help with the funeral costs.
