Obituary
Robert Lee Hightower, age 83, of Paso Robles, CA, passed away on August 18, 2015, at the VA Medical Center in Hot Springs, SD.
Robert was born in Phoenix, AZ, on November 28, 1931, to Robert and Lou Ila (O'Brien) Hightower. He was in the United States Navy from 1949, serving in the Korean War on two aircraft carriers, until his honorable discharge in 1953.
Robert was a rock hound, coin collector, avid bridge player and loved to read. Robert always had a kind word to share; he was tender hearted and a blessing wherever he went. He loved and cherished his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Robert truly lived until the end.
Robert is survived by two beloved daughters, Lee Marx of San Miguel, CA, and Terry Toomey of Hot Springs; 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by his wife Florence Jean Hightower.
No services will be held.
