Robert Lee Irwin, age 41, of Bonham, TX, passed away Friday. March 22, 2013, at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital-WNJ in Sherman.

Robert was born January 20, 1972, to Mick Irwin and Paula Miller in Chadron, NE. He married Deana Jane (Blosser) Irwin September 28, 1991, in Hot Springs, SD. He worked at Texas Manufacturing as a Welder in Whitesboro, TX. Robert was a true cowboy. He spent a lot of time traveling to rodeos all over, and especially loved sharing his passion for rodeo with his son, Rope. Robert loved spending time with his wife and children and traveling many miles to support his kids at various events. Robert was a strong man with a passion for life and he will be missed dearly by many who loved him.

Robert is survived by wife, Deana of Bonham; daughter, Kayla Irwin of Bonham; sons, Tucker and Rope Irwin of Bonham; father, Mick Irwin of Edgemont, SD; mother, Paula Miller of Waldport, OR; brothers, Michael Irwin of Box Elder, SD; Buck Irwin of Custer, SD; sister, Corinna Irwin of Shreveport, LA, as well as father and mother-in-law, Dean and Barbara Blosser of Cheyenne, WY.


Serving as Pallbearers will be Marty Kueckelhan, Quinry Kueckelhan, Rion Howard, Casey Blosser, Max Wright, and Shawn Hussey.


Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 26, 2013, at Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home Chapel in Bonham. Funeral services will also be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, March 29, 2013, at McColley's Chapel of the Hills in Hot Springs with interment following at the Duck Creek Cemetery near Ardmore, SD.
