Robert Lee 'Bob' Garbisch, age 70, of Custer, SD, was taken from us and received by the Lord on the afternoon of August 11, 2013, at Rapid City Regional Hospital in Rapid City, SD.

Bob was born April 17, 1943, in Wausau, WI, to Theodore and Amy (Johnson) Garbisch. He was a loving father and husband who enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He touched the hearts of many people with his kindness throughout his life. His presence with us will be missed. Some of Bob's favorite times were enjoying the beauty of the outdoors including hunting, fishing and camping.

Survivors include his wife, Karen Garbisch of Custer; son, Brian (Stacy) Garbisch of Summerset, SD; daughters, Sara (James) Murphree of Rapid City; Kristen (Jonathan) Snyder of Port Charlotte, FL; brother, Harvey Mathwick of Willard, WI; also survived by Karen's children, Lonny Schramm of Argyle, SD; Scott
Schramm of Custer; Gail Dell of Custer; 15 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley, his parents, and two brothers.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 until 7:00 pm, Thursday, August 15, 2013, at McColley's Chapel of the Hills in Custer.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, August 16, 2013, at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Custer with Pastor Steve Wagner officiating. Interment will follow at the Custer Cemetery.

A memorial has been established in Bob's name to benefit Our Redeemer Lutheran Church.
