Roberta May Fleming, age 96, of Oral, SD, passed away Monday, April 11, 2011, at the Castle Manor Nursing Home in Hot Springs.

Roberta was born January 12, 1915, in Hot Springs, SD, to Robert and Iris (Morgareidge) Bledsoe. She attended Oral elementary school and graduated from Buffalo Gap High School in 1932. On November 15, 1935, she married Chester 'Pete' Fleming.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great great-grandmother. She especially enjoyed cooking wonderful meals for family and friends. Roberta was a member of the Oral Methodist Church and active in the Church Ladies Aid, she was active in the Fairview Cemetery Board acting as treasurer for many years, and she enjoyed participating in the Old Neighbors group.

Survivors include her daughters, Shurlene Happs of Hot Springs; Janet (Keith) Warner of Broomfield, CO; grandchildren, Michael (Laurie) Warner of Arvada, CO; Melanie (Tim) Happs of Rapid City, SD; Mitzie (Fred) Neugebauer of Gillette, WY, ten great grandchildren and five great great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, April 15, 2011, at the United Churches in Hot Springs with Pastor Morris Nelson officiating.

Interment will follow at the Fairview Cemetery in Oral, SD.
