Roland Herman, 90, of Hot Springs, SD, passed away January 15, 2022, at the Wyoming Medical Center in Casper, WY.

Roland was born November 10, 1931, in Wood, SD; to Otto and Margret (Woehl) Herman.    He proudly served in the U.S. Navy until his honorable discharge in 1954.

Roland is survived by his son, Irvin Eugene Herman; his nephew, Bob (Nancy) Herman of Custer, SD and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Roland is predeceased by his parents; his wife, Eileen; his brothers, John; Bob; Pat; Irvin Herman; his sisters, Viola 'Vi'; Lillian; Gerda 'Gert'; Mary and Evylin.

Visitation will be held 9:00 a.m., Friday, January 28, 2022, at Chamberlain McColley's Funeral Home in Hot Springs, SD.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m., Friday, January 28, 2022 at Chamberlain McColley's Funeral Home in Hot Springs, SD.  Committal services will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Oral, SD.
