It is with great sadness that the family of Russell Lynn Miracle accounces his passing on August 24, 2018, in Custer, SD, at the age of 70.

Russ was born on August 22, 1948, in Cambridge, NE, to Hubert and Jean (Kutz) Miracle.  He grew up in Cambridge and graduated from Cambridge High School in 1966.  He then went on to graduate from University of Nebraska-Lincoln as a civil engineer. He worked many years in flood control and water resource management in Nebraska and Arizona.   He truly loved his work, and through it, was able to help countless people.

Russ is survived by his wife, Marty (Grgich) Mircacle; sister, Gloria (Miracle) and husband Dale Cotton; his children:  Jeff Miracle and wife Jessica, Scott Miracle and wife Susan, Tara Miracle and Kathy Miracle; step-children, Drew Grgich and wife Tracy, and Becky Henderson and husband Kevin; and many grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held September 14, 2018, in Cambridge, Nebraska and at 12:00 noon, September 29, 2018, in Custer.

Arrangements have been placed in the care of Chamberlain McColley's Funeral Home, Custer, SD.
