Sharon Lorraine Arseneault, age 65, of Hot Springs, SD passed away November 15, 2007 at Fall River Hospital in Hot Springs.
Sharon was born August 13, 1942 to Charles 'Bus' and Gladys (Lancaster) Halls in Hot Springs. She attended kindergarten through twelfth grades in Hot Springs. She became a military wife when she married Philip Arseneault in Hot Springs on January 16, 1960. They spent their first seventeen years traveling the US and overseas living in South Dakota, Maine, Japan, England, Minnesota and finally settling in Hot Springs when Philip retired from the US Air Force.
Sharon was a loving wife and mother. She was always the caregiver, making sure her family was the number one priority.
Survivors include her husband, Philip Anseneault of Hot Springs, SD; mother Gladys Halls of Hot Springs; son, Charles (Sandy) Anseneault of Custer, SD; three daughters, Neva (Alan) Mitchard of Gillette, WY; Kristina (Joe) Neuman of Bellaire, MI; Norma Gausman of Hot Springs; brother Kenneth (Florence) Halls of Hot Springs; sister Marilyn (Paul) Torres of Hot Springs and four grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Sunday, November 18, 2007 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the United Churches Sanctuary in Hot Springs.
Funeral services will be held 1:30 p.m., Monday, November 19, 2007 at United Churches in Hot Springs with Reverend Morris Nelson officiating.
Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery near the Wild Horse Sanctuary in Fall River County, SD.
The family requests that memorials be made in Sharon's name to benefit the Cascade Volunteer Fire Department.
