Sharon 'Sue' Bryant, age 53, passed away Monday, January 24, 2011, at her home in Edgemont, SD.

She was born November 5, 1957 in Omaha, NE, the youngest girl of seven children born to Dorm and Marjorie Updike. She lived in the Omaha area until she was 15 years old and then moved to Minnesota in the early 1970's. From there she moved to many states including South Dakota, North Dakota, Montana, Wyoming, Nebraska, and Texas and back to South Dakota. In 2004 she moved to Edgemont and worked at the Trail Head Café where she met the love of her life, Joe Keyser. The couple became engaged and made their home in Edgemont. While making her home in Edgemont she worked as a flagger. She loved being out in the hot sunny weather.

Sue was the most caring and loving person. She would do anything and everything she could to help anyone. She loved being outdoors camping, fishing, walking her dogs and being in her garden. She loved her family and friends very much and will be dearly missed by all.

Sue is survived by four daughters, Terri Ann (Coy Kester) Oberle of Pringle, SD; Jessica (Rob) Sell of Wheatland, ND; Anji Middagh of Fargo, ND; Theresa (Kelly Busche) Gray of Fargo, ND; fiancé, Joe Keyser of Edgemont; three brothers, Bob (Debbie Becker) Updike of Avon, MN; Jan (Debbie) Updike of Hampton, TN; Gary Updike of Richmond, MN; three sisters, Peggy (Virgil) Poff of Richmond, MN; Mary (John) Peya of Shawnee, OK; Judy (Chuck) Pegley of Birch Run, MI; six grandchildren, Trista; Destinee; Brody; Kamerai; Carlie; Dylan and two great grandchildren on the way, Bentley and Jazmine.

Memorial Services will be held in June 2011, at the Poff cabin in Blackduck, MN, contact the family for additional information.
