Shelly Lynn Stanton, 69, of Custer, South Dakota, passed away peacefully on August 30, 2025. She is survived by her mother, Iris and her two sons, Thaddeus and Kaleb; her two brothers, Jimmy Dean and Zachary; her two sisters, Nicolle and Marnie and two daughter-in-laws, Gloria and Maggie.  She is also survived by her four grandchildren, Isaiah , Malachi , Lucas, Thatcher and 4 great grandchildren, Shaylah, Jedidiah, Hazil, and Josiah along with lots of nieces and nephews.

She was a well loved mother, daughter, sister and grandmother. She was known for her amazing cooking, love of nature and spiritual things.  She was very independent and a strong willed woman that gave us all a great confidence of life.

Memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, October 18, 2025, at the Chamberlain McColley's Funeral Home in Custer, SD.
