Spencer Coy Sandven was born on August 31, 2004, to Darrin and Nicki (Coy) Sandven, in Rapid City, SD. He went into the arms of the Lord on February 7, 2026. 

He is survived by his parents, Nicki and Darrin Sandven; sister, Taylor (Jake) Olsen; brother, Carter (Hailey) Sandven; great grandparents, Pat and Fran Coy; grandparents; Jeanie and Ray Raaphorst; Dar and Jen Coy; Lucy Sandven; aunts and uncles and their children, Amanda and James Rorvik and their children, Brayden and Sidney; Katie and Adam Lundquist and their children Grey and Georgia; Gina Lhotak and her children Hunter, Roper and Bailer; Steven Sandven and his children, Shaylynn and Mandan; Michele Sandven and her daughter, Elly; Shirlene and Julius Ailgier and their children, Wyatt, Kierstin and Sophia. 

He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Dan Sandven; cousin, Randall Lundquist; Uncle, Jeremy Lhotak; great grandmother, Evelyn Shipley and his great-great grandparents, Dar and Jo Coy.

Memorial services will be held 10:00 a.m., Friday, February 13, 2026, at Chamberlain McColley's Funeral Home in Custer, SD.
