Stanley Gardner Snider, 70, of Custer, SD, passed away January 25, 2010, at Custer Regional Senior Care in Custer.
He was born on June 22, 1939 in Maywood, NE to Charles Nelson and Daisie (Gardner) Snider. The family moved to Fort Lupton, CO in 1942, where Stanley attended school and made many friends. He served in the US Army taking his Basic Training at Fort Leonard Wood, MO. He also spent several years in LaSalle, CO.
Stanley married Charleen Marie Brault on November 6, 1976 in Norton, KS, they spent the last few years residing in Custer, SD.
Stanley is survived by his wife, Charleen of Custer; two brothers, Morris (Elsie) Snider of La Veta, CO; Jay (Mary) Snider of Larkspur, CO; sister, Ann (Bill) Moore of Colorado Springs, CO; and many other relatives and friends.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, February 1, 2010 at the Berean Bible Church in Custer with Pastor Gary Pokorney officiating.
