Stanley David 'Stan' Bejeski, 62, of Hot Springs, SD, passed away November 3, 2010, at the Veterans Administration Medical Center at Ft. Meade, SD.

Stanley was born December 18, 1947 in Boston, MA to Stanley B. and Margaret V. (Iandoli) Bejeski.

Stan proudly served in the United States Air Force from December 10, 1968, until his honorable discharge on April 17, 1970. In 1980 he moved to the VA Domiciliary in Hot Springs. Stan was well known and had many friends he would do anything for.

Stan did not have any known relatives but is survived by his long time friend, Emma Shaw, of Hot Springs. Emma cared for Stan for twenty years and, during that time, Emma's family became his.

Stan will be missed very much. We will never forget the Boston accent he had. Love you buddy.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 a.m., Monday, November 8, 2010, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Hot Springs with Fr. Thomas Tierney officiating. Interment will be held 2:00 p.m., Monday, November 8, 2010, at the Black Hills National Cemetery near Sturgis, SD. Military Honors will be provided by the Air Force and Sturgis Veterans Honor Guards.
