Stephen Ira MacDonald, 70, of Custer, SD, passed away on December 19, 2019, at his residence in Custer.

Stephen was born July 24, 1949, in Evanston, Wyoming to Allan and Margaret 'Marie' (Miller) MacDonald.    Stephen proudly served in the U.S. Navy until his honorable discharge in 1972.

Stephen is survived by his wife, Penny of Custer; son, Darren (Shaylynn) MacDonald of Salt Lake City, UT; daughter, Tracy (Jeff) Logsdon of Salt Lake City; grandchildren, Austin; Allie; Ashton; Ben of Salt Lake City; siblings, Michael MacDonald; Mary Hayes; Patricia Wadsworth; and  Kathleen Patten all of Boise.

Predeceasing Stephen is his parents; siblings, Donald MacDonald; Loretta Grohndal; and Tira Jones.

Celebration of Life Services will be held in the future.

Arrangements have been placed in the care of Chamberlain McColley's Funeral Home in Custer, SD.
