Steva 'Pearl' Risinger, 78, a beloved kindergarten teacher and friend to many passed away March 2, 2017, at her home near Hot Springs, SD.
Pearl was born June 13, 1938, in Pierre, SD, to Walter L. and Marguerite (McFarling) Madison.
Pearl is survived by her two sons, Robert Risinger of Washougal, WA; Getro Maceno of Newark, NJ; two daughters, Pam (Mark) Weisser of West Allis, WI; Robin (Wayne) Steinert of Dubois, WY; bother Don (Lina) Madison of MO; sisters, Ruth (Lyle) Spicer of KS; June Wood of MI; Pearl's loving friend Bob Pich of Hot Springs and his daughters, Tress Pich, Helen (Gary Babl) Pich, Patty (Bat) Pourier, Connie (Chuck Bossart) Pich; ten grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 7, 2017, at The United Churches in Hot Springs with Pastor Richard Bershon and Chaplain Gary Goodlin officiating.
A memorial has been established in Pearl's name to benefit her two-nephew's mission work or The United Churches in Hot Springs.
