Steven Allen Herman, age 39, of Hot Springs, SD, he went to be with his heavenly Father on October 23, 2016, at his home in Hot Springs, SD.

Steven was born August 8, 1977, to Steven Gossel and Cheryl Berens.

Stevie, as he was so fondly nicknamed by all his family, was a very quiet and gentle soul, who was loved by all that knew him. At a young age Stevie found his true calling as a server at the Ruby House in Keystone, SD. and proudly worked there over 17 years, getting to meet many celebrities through his years there.

Stevie will be greatly missed by his mom, Cheryl Lathrop and father, Tom Lathrop; big sister, Stacy Herman of Custer; and younger brothers, Matthew Lathrop; Bernie Gossel; also left to morn his passing are his nephew's, Chandler and Taylor Rice, Nathaniel Lathrop and niece, Anastasia Lathrop along with his aunts, uncles, cousins and all the friends he made in his short life on this earth.

He is preceded in death by his dad, Steve Gossel; grandparents; special friends, Luke Archambeau, James Geidd and Bryon Zeller.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:00 a.m., November 5, 2016, at Chamberlain-McColley's Funeral Home in Hot Springs, Matthew Lathrop and Stacy Herman will be officiating.
