Obituary
Steven Allen 'Steve' Gossel, age 58, passed away August 3, 2014, at his home in Hot Springs, SD.
Steve worked for the State Home for numerous years. He also worked for the Hot Springs School District for 17 ½ years as a custodian in the various buildings. When he wasn't taking care of "the Case", during school events, he was doing various odd jobs around town for different people. Steve was an avid NASCAR fan. His love for racing started when he was young, attending various drag races around the hills.
Steve is survived by his son, Steve Herman of Keystone, SD; daughter, Stacy Herman of Custer, SD; brothers, Jim Gossel of Hot Springs; Ben Gossel of Hot Springs; grandchildren, Chandler Rice and Taylor Rice.
Steve is proceeded in death by his parents, Mary Ann and Bernard Gossel; brother, Kenny Gossel, and a grandchild.
Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, August 11, 2014, at McColley's Chapel of the Hills in Hot Springs, SD, with Rev. Morris Nelson officiating.
A memorial has been established in Steve's name.
