Terry Lee Pierce-Gossel, age 66, of Hot Springs, SD, passed away December 15, 2014, after a long length illness of kidney disease and COPD, at the Rapid City Regional Hospital in Rapid City, SD.

Terry was born on December 27, 1947, to Beverly Jane Phifer and Lloyd Radcliffe in Hot Springs. After her parents divorced she moved to Newcastle, WY. At age 13, they moved to Billings, MT, and then returned to Hot Springs during her high school years.Terry worked in the local hospital and nursing home, then attended Western Dakota Tech, graduating in 1982, with her L.P.N. degree. She moved to Denver,CO, in 1982, then later to Scottsbluff, NE, returning to Hot Springs in 1997. Terry enjoyed fulfilling careers, caring for others, and teaching others about health care. Her renal disease forced her to retire from the State Veterans Home in 2006.

To Terry's first marriage were born three sons, Sam, Troy and Duane. Duane died at infancy. Terry married the love of her life, Ben Gossel, in 2000. She acquired five lovely step children.

Terry is survived by her husband, Ben; sons, Sam and Troy; four step-children, Beth; Stephanie; Craig; Melissa; sixteen grandchildren; one great granddaughter; sister, Cheryl; many cousins; and her aunt, Mildred.

Terry is preceded in death by her parents, Beverly Jane, and Lloyd; infant son, Duane; step son, David; and daughter-in-law, June.

Memorial services will be held 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 27, 2014, at Chamberlain McColley's Funeral Home in Hot Springs.

In lieu of flowers, Terry requested that the giver donate to the college funds of Kelsey and Samantha Pierce at First Western Bank.
