Thelma 'Gene' Hoffman, 76, of Edgemont, SD, passed away September 21, 2022, in Rapid City, SD.

Thelma was born October 30, 1945, in LaJunta, Colorado to Charles and Wilma (Askew) Green.  She proudly served in the U.S. Army until her honorable discharge in 1965.

Thelma is survived by her husband, John of Edgemont; children, Christopher Sebastian; Charlene "Lu" Culver, Isaac Sebastian; step children, LuAnne (Gary) Kuchar; John (Laura) Hoffman Jr and grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held 1:00 p.m., Monday, September 26, 2022, at Black Hills National Cemetery near Sturgis, SD.
