Trevia Jewel Buckley, age 63, Hot Springs, SD passed away July 16, 2007 at her home in Hot Springs, SD.
Trevia was born May 13, 1944 in Mt. Carbon, WV to Everett and Lillian (Clendenian) Rhodes.
Trevia greatly enjoyed spending time with family, friends and grandchildren, traveling throughout the United States and Europe, being a homemaker and raising her children. Trevia participated in crafts, computers and puzzles and was a member of National Gateway Rodeo Club. She fought her cancer with a lot of courage, dignity and humor.
Survivors include son John (Bonnie) Shaffer, III of Rapid City, SD; daughter, Cynthia (Duane Clubb) Hughes Of Hot Springs, SD; brother, William "Pete" (Connie) Rhodes of Fayetteville, WV; sister, Julia Lee of Frankfort, KY; four grandchildren, Cherelle; Chelsey; Charlee and Andrew.
Memorial services will be held 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 21, 2007 at McColley's Chapel of the Hills in Hot Springs, SD with Chaplain Jane Ireland officiating.
A memorial has been established in Trevia's name to benefit Rapid Regional Hospice.
