Vincent Martin Wasserburger, age 91, of Ardmore, SD passed away November 5, 2007 in Hot Springs, South Dakota.

Vincent was born October 20, 1916 in Montrose, NE to Herbert and Gertrude (O'Connell) Wasserburger. He spent the majority of his life ranching near Ardmore, SD. However, he spent several years in California working for Douglas Aircraft in the early 1940's.

Survivors include two daughters, Lana (Larry) Mowry of Hot Springs, SD; Judith Haedt of Indian Head Park, IL; four sisters, Laurine Hartman of Ardmore, SD; Vera Kleist of Alta Loma, CA; Letha (Les) Collins of Garden Grove, CA; Hazel (John) Anderson of Rapid City, SD; two brothers, Dale Wasserburger of Hemmingsford, NE; Dallas (Enid) Wasserburger of Rapid City, SD; three grandsons, Toby Mowry of Hot Springs; Michael (Amy) Mowry of Redmond, WA; Jeff Mowry of Maricopa, AZ; two great grandchildren, Alison Mowry and Alex Mowry of Redmond, WA as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Vincent is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Ann Mumm.

Wake services will be held at 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 7, 2007 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Hot Springs.

Memorial services will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, November 8, 2007 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Hot Springs with Father Peter Kovarik officiating. Interment will follow at the Montrose Cemetery near Montrose, NE.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Hospice of the Hills, c/o Rapid City Regional Hospital 1011 11th Street, Rapid City, SD 57701.
