Obituary
Violet S. Biever, age 98, of Hot Springs, SD, passed away Sunday, October 3, 2010, at the Fall River Hospital in Hot Springs.
Violet was born November 4, 1911, in Oelrichs, SD to James E. and Martha L. (Dryden) Williams.
Violet is survived by her sons, Keith (Kathy) Biever of Seattle, WA; Duane (Verna) Biever of Castlewood, SD; daughter, Karolyn (Howard) Fairbanks of Oroville, CA; granddaughters, Darla Biever of Yakima, WA; Wendi and husband Devon Wolkow of DeSmet, SD; great grandchildren, Lexi, kali, kyla and Libby; nieces Beverly Smith of Henderson, NV and Ilene Rahe of Chappell, NE and numerous other nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph; her parents; two sisters, Iris McAdams and Clare Miller and one niece, Marcella Krueger.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 6, 2010 at McColley's Chapel of the Hills in Hot Springs with Dr. J. Edwin Coates officiating. Interment will be held at the Oelrichs Cemetery at a later date.
A memorial has been established in Violet's name to benefit the Abbott House for Girls in Mitchell, SD.
