William Ray Pesicka, 72, passed away May 4, 2009 at his home in Hot Springs, SD.
William was born May 1, 1937 in Aberdeen, SD. He proudly served in the United States Navy from January 26, 1955 until his honorable discharge on November 4, 1959.
Survivors include one daughter, Melissa (John) Nedved of Tyndall, SD; parents, Ralph and Lillie Pesicka of Dupree, SD; sisters, Patsy Woolery of Aberdeen, SD; Edna Bunn of Grand Ronde, OR; Linda (Ole) Keehner of Rapid City, SD; brothers, Ralph (Charlie) Pesicka of Timber Lake, SD; Richard Pesicka of Renton, WA and two grandchildren, Leah and Tyler Nedved.
Graveside services will be held 1:00 p.m., Friday, May 15, 2009 at the Black Hills National Cemetery near Sturgis, SD. Military Honors will be provided by the South Dakota National Guard and the Sturgis Veterans Honor Guard.
Arrangements have been placed in the care of McColley's Chapel of the Hills in Hot Springs. Written condolences may be made at www.mccolleyschapels.com.
