Obituary
William Franklin Spencer, age 60, of Sturgis, SD, passed away Tuesday, July 6, 2010, at the VA Medical Center at Ft. Meade, SD.
William was born in McPherson, KS, August 18, 1949, to Loyd and Donna (Baughman) Spencer. He served in the US Navy from July 1968 until his honorable discharge in April 1969.
William is survived by son, William Spencer, Jr.; brother, Loyd Spencer, Jr.; sister-in law, Irene Spencer; special friend, Karla Harwood of Sturgis; as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, A. Paul Spencer.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 13, 2010, at Black Hills National Cemetery near Sturgis.
Arrangements have been placed in the care of McColley's Chapel of the Hills in Hot Springs. Written condolences can be made at www.mccolleyschapels.com.
